Sharing special foods is a timeless tradition that has shaped our social gatherings for centuries.
In this presentation, we’ll explore a variety of “sweet” culinary traditions from the 18th and 19th centuries and consider how the treats we enjoy have changed. We’ll also discuss the process and ingredients of making these food items, then and now.
